They are close to the end of their journey in Ukraine. Andrew had his doctor's appointment and they went to the US Embassy to start the process for his visa. Tomorrow they will go back to the Embassy and pick up the visa. Then they will board a plane first thing Saturday morning and head for home!
Here are a few pictures from Sevastopol. The last one is Andrew in a Greek baptismal!
These photos make me want to cry - he clearly loves having a dad! His need for a father and his love for you, the one chosen to be his father, are so apparent here.
ReplyDeleteThey look like good friends already...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Rochelle
Thank you Hansina & Mark for sharing your journey with Andrew. I can't wait to see how he does with all of his brothers and sisters!!
ReplyDeleteI just love to see his big SMILE! So amazing. God bless!!
ReplyDeleteTwo days and they wil be on their way home - Woohoo!! Don't suppose there is any chance that they have a layover in Minneapolis, is there?
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!!
They look so comfortable together...praise God! What a privilege it is to see God's love manifested through your family. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHis smile is priceless; he looks so comfortable with Mark. I've loved following your journey thus far; I'll be praying them home!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! It's quite obvious that Andrew knows he's now a son.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful pictures of a father and son having the time to bond!! Seems to be so right to have this quiet one on one time with his dad since he is older and before he gets to be smoothered with love from all his siblings!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful pictures. I am so happy that they are having time to bond and get to see some of the country.
ReplyDeleteRemembering the first meeting and the worn eyes of a young boy to the current time and the sparkle that now shines from this same child's eyes! Who or what is responsible for all . . . ? Need we really ask ?
ReplyDeleteAlmost home!!!!!!!!! =D
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of all of you this morning. Saying a prayer for their safe arrival home. See you next week.
