Then he got up, went to Mark and asked to speak with him. They had a private conversation for a few minutes and that was it. A little later we all went in the house. I went up stairs to get ready for bed and this is what I found in my bathroom.
Andrew had asked Mark to teach him to shave!
This is the final result! Clean faces! Very handsome guys!
Blessings,
Hansina

ReplyDeleteHa ha! I will never get to experience my girls shaving their faces...did he even have any hair to shave? (shhh, don't tell him that) Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteLOL! He had a tiny bit across his upper lip. ;)
DeleteThat made me tear up. Such joy!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny. In a completely endearing sorta way! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou make it all look so perfect and easy, adopting a teenager! And certainly, with all the grace, all the people all over the world supporting you in prayer, maybe it IS easy!!! But someday, can you fill us in on the tough parts? Just so we know what to expect when we follow your example?
ReplyDeleteYes! I told Mark it's something I plan on doing gradually. I do want people to know it's not perfect. We are still figuring things out. How do you handle this and that? As soon as I can get some things concrete, I will share! I'm glad you asked! Thank you!
Deletepraying for your family daily. Love, Lisa
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! So glad he has a dad to ask! And don't worry--I don't Think for a minute that this is all going perfectly. NO parent can use "perfect" and "teenager" in the same sentence! Ha!! But thank you for sharing all this with us.
