Pizza and Soccer

Today we took some pizza and a soccer ball to Andrey. He loved the pizza and enjoyed playing soccer with Mark.

We have never been to this side of the orphanage. It's closed down from the road, so we always enter in the back. This is definitely the front.

One more day down. One more day to go before court! Yippee!! Friday never looked so good!

Thank you for your continued prayers. We feel the presence of the Lord with us and Andrey.

  1. Oh, my friend! Such good news, court Friday! SO awesome to hear. Will be praying for overwhelming favor and continued peace for Andrey throughout the process. Love you guys so much. So blessed to watch Andrey enjoying his daddy. Love it!! He was handpicked by the Lord to be a Mickschl. What a blessed gift you are to him and he is to you!!!!

  2. I came across your blog from Reece's Rainbow. I remember when my husband and I saw Jonathan(Andrey). Our hearts broke for him and the fact that we were to young to parent him (being less than 10 years older then him ourselves). We prayed the right family would find him. When I saw that you had I thanked God. When I read the post that he had waivered in his decision I knew in my heart that this poor boy must have been suffering. Seeing your daily posts I just know it will all turn out ok. You are showing him how special it is to be a part of a family. I can't wait until Friday when the court makes you his parents forever! Good Luck and God Bless!

  3. Praising God for those precious moments and praying for a smooth court date on Friday!

  4. Yay for court! Is there a 10 day wait in his region?

  5. Silly question, but does the pizza taste different from the US ??

    1. Not a silly question at all! Yes! It does taste different, but I have to say, of all the places we've eaten pizza in Ukraine, this region has the best pizza! The cheese is different, the crust is soft and the toppings taste different. Okay, it's definitely different!
