Santa!

Andrew is turning 17 this next month. He has missed out on a lot of the childhood things my other kids have grown up with that I take for granted. Like getting on our jackets on a cold, windy, rainy day and heading to the mall to see Santa!


All the firsts that we are able to do with him. To watch his expression coming into the mall and seeing Santa for the first time.

To see his eyes when we entered the food court! All my kids like to pick where they want to eat. So if one wants Chinese food, they can have it and someone else wants a hamburger, they can have that. So I told Andrew to pick anywhere he wants to eat. He was so excited! He turned and said, "Mom, you pick for me. You do good."

Next we are going to decorate the Christmas tree!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A beautiful Thanksgiving in Coloma by the American River with my mom, grandma (98 years young), our eight kids and two dogs! Andrew loved all the food and went back for thirds!
We have so much to be thankful for today! Family, health, food, and four adoptions that have changed our world and lives! BLESSED!

A little update

Thank you for your prayers! Andrew has had a few good days. There is deep hurt buried down inside. Mark and I have been talking to him to let him know when he's ready to talk, we are here. He gets very upset with himself when he says hurtful things. He came to Mark and I crying asking for us to help him. We can only do so much, but I know the Savior can do so much more!


We are beyond blessed to know how many of you are praying! Thank you my precious friends! Andrew has a great future ahead of him with you mighty warriors going to our Father on his behalf!

Prayers for Andrew

I know there are many of you out there that pray for Andrew and our family and I'm asking if you all could pray for us now. Andrew has had a couple of tough days. We know there are some deep hurts that might be coming to the surface.

If you could pray wisdom for Mark and I and for these hurts to come out of Andrew. This is the only way he can heal. Also for his salvation. We are sharing more and more of Christ with him and how a lot of these attitudes are because of his heart. Healing for Andrew and wisdom for us. Thank you my friends!
