Morgan and I took off all the lights the next day and started again. If there are any spots with no lights on, oh well. At least the tree got decorated!

Decorating the Tree
We had an interesting time with the tree this year. The lights kept going out. Oh my goodness, we'd get it all lit, the kids would start putting ornaments on and the whole middle section would go black.
Morgan and I took off all the lights the next day and started again. If there are any spots with no lights on, oh well. At least the tree got decorated!

That's a beautiful huge tree! How tall is it?
ReplyDeleteIt is 12 feet. I bought it years ago at Costco. The original lights keep going out, so we are adding more lights to it!
DeleteWas this a new experience for Andrew or did the decorate a tree at the orphanage?
ReplyDeleteI asked him about that and he said at the orphanage they had small trees that every class took a part in putting an ornament on. He said it was not like the evening we had as a family with all the ornaments, hot apple cider and cookies!
